While we spend a lot of time together training, toasting, and tackling the world’s problems one home sale at a time, the beginning of each year always brings us a special opportunity to reflect on our successes of the year past and plan for another great year doing what we love in the only way we know how...with an uncommonly community-minded, client-centered approach and the highest level of ethics, experience, and expertise. We are humbled to say that we continued year-over-year growth now well into our second decade as a boutique, independent, Houston-owned and -operated residential real estate firm, completing our best year ever with over $239 million dollars in sales and firmly remaining in the Top 10 of firms selling inside the loop and the Top 25 residential real estate firms in the entire city.
While we are undeniably proud of each and every agent at Boulevard, but our continued success is especially bolstered by a core yet ever-expanding group of Top Producing agents who sell at least $5M in real estate for the year.
Our Top Producing Class of 2019 is:
-
None other than Bill Baldwin, our broker and owner who serves home buyers and sellers to the tune of almost $40M while giving just as freely of his time and talents to an array of non-profits, City causes, civic groups, and professional associations.
-
Melissa Kubala, whose name is synonymous with new construction in the Heights. What you may not know about Melissa is that she as knowledgeable about the far reaches of functional health and fitness as she is about real estate.
-
Star Massing, one of the friendliest faces in Houston real estate and a renowned connector in the arts and creative communities. Outside of real estate and the arts, from holding a holiday craft show at our Heights office to chairing the board for the Blackwood Educational Land Institute, she is a verifiable “Super” Star in our eyes!
-
The famously brainy Cynthia Mullins, who continues to add to her over $200M in career real estate sales while still finding time to explore and promote Houston’s exceptional quality of life, from the dining hotspot of the Heights to the bike paths she uses to train for the MS150.
-
Our Montrose and Museum District maven Jaye Tullai. It’s impossible to leave Jaye’s presence without a smile on our faces and some new nugget of knowledge, and her affability is infectious. She continues to expertly serve a base of clients of friends who simply won’t trust anyone else with their real estate needs.
-
Brandon Krueger, who works overtime as not only a consistent Top Producer, but also an invaluable resource and mentor to our agents, trusted right hand to Bill Baldwin, expert in building and remodeling, and Heights family man. If you know or work with Brandon, chances are when you’ve got questions, he’s always got answers. For those reasons and more, Brandon was also awarded as our Shining Star of 2019.
-
The exceptionally capable, collected, and committed Drew Platt. Drew is not only our go-to for sound real estate advice in markets as diverse as the established Heights and the emerging Northside. On top of that he can always be counted on to draw from his experience as a commercial real estate broker, to answer any opportunity to serve our community, and even just to lend a sensitive ear.
-
Lauren Alff has risen through the ranks since throughout her first full year as a Boulevard Realtor so quickly that she was a shoe-in for our 2019 Rising Star Award. She embodies our brand of service, aggressively pursuing every opportunity to expand her know-how while selflessly giving back to those around her. All while earning the distinction of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year finalist, which means she raised tens of thousands of dollars, drawing from the deep wells of her creativity and passion.
-
Another new arrival to our group of Top Producers, David Diamond is as clever when it comes to real estate in an impressively diverse array of markets (from the Heights to Southampton to Pearland) as he is with his trademark “Dad jokes.” Quite literally building upon his experience as a residential remodeler, he’s serious about mastering all aspects of not only home sales, but doesn’t stop there...continuing to serve on advisory groups to support the local Realtor community.
-
Yenny Mattei (not pictured) was named our 2018 Rising Star but didn’t stop soaring in 2019. Always up for a challenge, she has a penchant for tough sales and Heights diamonds in the rough with her trusted four-legged companion Briggs always at her side. Yenny is also a passionate local connector when it comes to promoting entrepreneurs, social impactors, and influencers!
-
From start to finish, Jim Ford is as dedicated as they come to his clients and to the Boulevard Realty family. A warm presence in our office and something of a renaissance man, Jim’s gentlemanly advice can be trusted for everything from funky Heights properties to modern art and design. A day is too long without seeing Jim, so we’re lucky to have him as our Norhill neighbor!
-
Last but certainly not least, our 2019 Hall of Fame inductee Robert Zahn makes us proud from the mainland to that quirky island off Texas we know and love as Galveston. Our Galveston Top Producer for as many years as he’s lived there, Robert isn’t just indispensable to our success in the historic, second home, and investment property markets on the island, he spent 2019 as the President of the Galveston Association of Realtor. Beyond real estate, we always look forward to seeing Robert next as much for his deadpan sense of humor as to see which of his snazzy sport coats he’ll unveil next!
We couldn’t be prouder of each of these Boulevardians. Here’s to these 12 once again for a phenomenal 2019!
