About the Position

We are an independent, full-service real estate firm with expertise in the design and building process. We apply this expertise throughout a distinct level of listing and marketing services provided to individual buyers, sellers, and our builder clients. We are seeking a full-time Design Coordinator to assist in the design process for our new construction and remodel projects, and to assist our agents with design input and consultation during listing appointments and walkthroughs.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of design and/or architecture work experience (or coursework) and will be available to work from our Heights office. The schedule is flexible, but does require a dedicated number of hours per week. This position will earn an hourly rate or salary.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain an accurate system to organize exterior/interior selections (paints/stains, fixtures, flooring, other finishes) for a large portfolio of projects.

  • Maintain a design library with inspiration and samples, while actively expanding and having a high command of the library.

  • Research trends in architecture and design.

  • Maintain strong lines of communication with vendors, for accurate pricing, supply, and samples.

  • Remain very familiar with project details, such as floor plans and construction timelines.

  • Communicate with the marketing team to ensure up-to-date selections are featured in collateral as needed.


  • Strong organizational and communication skills with careful attention to detail and a self-directed style of working/learning, as well as the ability to take and give direction and feedback constructively.

  • Strong interest and background in home design, custom homes, architecture, construction, real estate, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of design-related software is a plus.
